I first noticed this when helping my father in Attica N.Y., I was distributing my brothers property to veterans nonprofits and when I got back in the evening I noticed up to fifty percent of the homes had green porch lights. After researching the issue I found out it is a way of showing support for the military. I encourage all that support our military to add one to their home, like hanging out a flag, It like many other things will grow and hopefully become a growing tradition.
